A few years ago I imagined a story about a post-apocalyptic society living in a place called Zona Limpia in Mexico. In Zona Limpia, creativity is stifled, lives are limited to a certain age after people can't work as effectively anymore, and pro-creation is strictly regulated. Anyway, within the story is a music group called "Salvar a Los Unicornios" ("Save the Unicorns") who work under the radar of authorities as rebels (or Vandals of the Zona Limpia who "vandalize" the Zona with art) for the cause of a free humanity. Their motto is "Make Love, Make Art, Live Forever".
To me the symbolic image of the unicorn represents creative individuality, the mythos of human potential, and the promise of a hopeful, magical future where we all remember we are wild and free.
"Wild & Free" is about all us... all earthlings whether we're elephants, gorillas, orcas, bears, wolves, or humans. These designs remind us that all life is naturally wild and free, to be proud of that glorious wildness, of the freedom that is our birthright... and shine.
